Read the founder’s story and research

After encountering the issue of North Korean defectors through Model United Nations, she began asking how states should respond to lives pushed beyond institutional protection. That inquiry led to her research on refugee hospitality policy in Türkiye.

After graduate school, she edited an international multicultural-studies journal at the Research Institute of Asian Women, led social-contribution programs for marriage migrant women and their children, and researched international social-integration indicators. There she studied institutions and field realities designed for people, while recognizing the clear limits of how directly research and social-contribution work alone could intervene in the gap between them.

Grounded in the belief that human dignity must be protected, she builds standards that work in practice. People should be able to sense directions aligned with their values and purposes through their own inner sense, then choose their lives and happiness with agency through a balance of feeling and reason. Her emotion-body integration research therefore focuses less on technological control than on “emotion technology” that helps people recover their capacity to feel and choose. Wendy's Healing Recipe translates this research into lived culture and people-centered products, programs, and market execution.
